"This is a free family event for kids of all ages see all of this years painted cats, pet the real kitties and enjoy refreshments,” said Cat Care Society president Diane Stoner. “Plus, there will be face painting and cat origami for the little ones.”
In addition to Festival of Felines, the remaining Tails of the Painted Cats Summer Tour events include:
July 11, 6 to 8 p.m. — Fascination St. Fine Art in Cherry Creek North, 2727 W. 3rd Ave. entrance, Wine & Cheese Reception ($10 donation per person at the door)
July 20, 5 to 9 p.m. — Pinehurst Country Club - 2013 Gala Dinner & Auction (advance tickets required.) Order Gala Dinner and Auction tickets online. Some of the Painted Cats are standing, and some are sitting, but they are all unique, original decorator pieces created by accomplished area artists.
