RETURNING to the 2015 TOPC Gala: The Tower of Wine is Back, Expanding to 64 Bottles

Generous patrons have yet again opened their wine cellars to Cat Care Society to make an expanded Tower of Wine possible at the 2015 Tails of the Painted Cats Gala Dinner and Auction at Pinehurst Country Club, October 10th. Topping the tower list are these French Bordeaux wines:
1990 Chateau La Conseillante ($457)
1989 Chateau Lynche-Bages ($425)
1990 Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande ($323)
1985 Chateau L'Evangile ($268)
1986 Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande ($252)
1986 Chateau Gruaud-Larose ($231)
1990 Chateau Rauzan-Segla ($220)
1990 Chateau Rauzan-Segla ($159)
1990 Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou ($156)
1995 Chateau Leoville Barton ($148)
1995 Chateau Troplong Mondot ($105)
1994 Chateau Troplong Mondot ($72)
The remainder of the tower is a selection 2007 Balistreri Vineyards wines, including Colorado Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varietals.
The way it works, each bottle in the tower is tagged and numbered. Those playing draw a numbered card and then win the corresponding numbered bottle of wine. This is the fourth year we’ve had the tower and it usually sells out early in the evening during the cocktail reception, so make sure to come at 5 p.m. so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to win a wonderful wine for your own cellar (and help the CCS cats and community outreach programs).
If you don’t have your tickets yet, link to register for the TOPC Gala Dinner and Auction
CCS sincerely appreciates both Donna & Rick Albin and Lynn Amsbury for their generous support of our 2015 Tower of Wine!
