Cat Care Society Sept. News: Special Needs September, Painted Cats Move to Arts District at Santa Fe + Piatti Ristorante Hosts Feasting For Felines to Benefit CCS

Today is September 1st and Cat Care Society is announcing these upcoming events to kick off the new month:

ADOPTION SPECIAL FEATURES UNIQUE TO THE INDUSTRY PERPET-U-CARE

During September CCS is offering the Special Needs September promotion for all CCS senior cats (age 10+) and adult cats having chronic health problems with these reduced fees:

$40 adoption fee for Senior and Special Needs cats.

$20 adoption fee for the disabled (disability discount) and senior adopters age 60+ of these Senior and Special Needs Cats in the promotion.

For all cats in the Special Needs September promotion, our 'unique to the industry' CCS Perpet-U-Care program applies. Perpet-U-Care covers $250 in medical services at the CCS Cat Clinic annually for cats 10+ years and cats with special chronic health problems (note: it does not include wellness exams, vaccines and cremation).

TAILS OF THE PAINTED CATS SUMMER TOUR LAST STOP



To kick off the Labor Day weekend this Friday, September 4th, Art of Life Gallery, 200 Santa Fe Drive, is hosting a Wine & Cheese Event, 6:30 to 8 p.m., celebrating the 2015 Tails of the Painted Cats.

Enjoy wonderful wines and delicious cheeses (thank you Grande Cheese), while viewing all of the 2015 Painted Cats and other art on display at the gallery. Several of the CCS painted cat artists will exhibiting other of their works that evening.

Cost: $10 donation per person requested to help the Cat Care Society cats, payable at the wine bar that evening.

There's street parking available along Santa Fe, plus these nearby lots: The Bolt Factory at 2nd and Kalamath St; Image Complete Lighting Gallery, Kalamath and 2nd Avenue; and Su Teatro lot at Santa Fe Drive and 2nd Avenue. The District's First Friday Art Walk will be going on concurrently, complete with a Shuttle Coach running from 5:30 to 10 p.m. throughout the District.

The painted cats will remain on display at Art of Life through September 29th.

RESTAURANT FUNDRAISER

September Feasting For Felines: 20% of Piatti's Lunch & Dinner Sales Benefit Cat Care Society Wednesday, September 16th. 

Feasting For Felines returns to Piatti Ristorante in Cherry Creek, 191 St. Paul St (valet parking provided). Dine either for lunch or dinner and Piatti will donate 20% to CCS! Reservations are requested online or by calling 303.321.1919.

Cat food and litter donations are also greatly appreciated. Bring them to the restaurant with you.
