Quoting from the posting by Lakewood Pet Examiner Carrie Dow:"The Cat Care Society...cat shelter in Lakewood, is putting the 'fun' in fundraising with their annual Santa Paws Festival the first weekend of December.
Part open house, part holiday event and part bake sale, the Santa Paws Festival is for cat lovers of all ages to visit, shop and enjoy. The shelter’s volunteer “elves” will be spreading holiday cheer. Downstairs, check out some tasty homemade baked goods while crafters will be selling gift items upstairs. The Meow Mart will inside the shelter will have lots of gifts for cats and their finicky owners. Also included is a visit from Santa Paws.
The event will be Friday, December 2, from noon to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, December 3, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Cat Care Society is located at 5787 West 6th Avenue in Lakewood on the 6th Avenue frontage road near the Sheridan Exit."
