Boettcher Foundation Introduces 2012 Investigators to Colorado's Bioscience Community


The 2012 class of Boettcher Investigators was formally introduced to Colorado's Bioscience Community at the Colorado BioScience Association's Annual Awards Dinner celebration, December 6, in Denver.

Timothy Schulz, Boettcher Foundation Executive Director, made the presentation.

The 2012 Boettcher Investigators include:

• Dr. Harald Junge, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology , University of Colorado Boulder. Investigating retinal vascular development.

• Dr. Matthew Kennedy, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Pharmacology , University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Investigating molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s pathology.

• Dr. Chad Pearson, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology , University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Investigating organization of microtubule cytoskeleton for cell divisioning and signaling.
