This week at Cat Care Society: Black Cat Adoption Special + Jose O'Shea's Fundraiser + Seminar For Senior Cat Owners

Tuesday, August 18 - Sunday, August 23: in celebration of Black Cat Appreciation Day (which was Monday Aug 17 when CCS was closed), the shelter is offering a Black Cat Adoption Special all week (for all black cats and cats with 'some' black fur, age 1 and up). The standard adoption screening process applies. Adopters can name their price or spin the wheel to determine the adoption fee on adult black kitties, and those with "some" black fur: light or dark blue: fee waived; purple, green or yellow, $8; and red, $17.

Feasting For Felines Fundraiser at Jose O'Shea's Mexican Cantina in Lakewood: Dine Wednesday, August 19, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Jose O'Shea's, 385 Union Blvd in Lakewood.
