Voting ends July 3 at midnight: COIN’s Innovation Challenge Seeks Community Votes to Help ‘Realize Good Ideas’

Paul Graham, founder of the Silicon Valley based Startup Incubator Y Combinator said, “the most successful founders tend to work on ideas that few beside them realize are good.”

Colorado-based entrepreneurs need your support. The Glorious Failure: In Search of Success Innovation Challenge is designed to showcase and promote entrepreneurs’ innovative ventures. Five finalists will be selected to pitch at the COIN Summit on August 29, 2013 for a chance to win $50,000 cash and in-kind prizes to put toward their business.

Here is where you come in! Help ‘realize a great idea’ by voting on a concept you believe will help accelerate Colorado’s economy and position our state as a leader in innovation and the advanced industries. The entry that receives the most votes will automatically qualify as a finalist and have a shot at the grand prize.

With more entries flowing in each week, there are already a number of innovative ventures featured on the website within the seven advanced industries – aerospace, infrastructure engineering, information and technology, bioscience, energy and natural resources, advanced manufacturing, and electronics.

Whether Colorado is your home or your playground, help recognize excellence and support innovative start-ups in our state by voting for your favorite entry here. Entry submissions and public voting will end on July 3rd at midnight.
