Quoting from the December 20th posting:
"The Denver-based Colorado BioScience Association, which represents the state’s bioscience community, is seeking tax-deductible year-end donations for the Colorado Bioscience Institute.
The Institute will provide educational and workforce programs for teachers, students, bioscience professionals and the broader community.
'Each gift will help us reach our goal of $20,000, including a generous matching gift from PhRMA up to $5,000,' said April Giles, CBSA president and CEO.
'The initial $20,000 raised will support the launch of one of the Institute’s flagship programs – the BioGENEius Challenge—in addition to other college and high school educational forums.'
Giles said the program will provide high school students the opportunity to compete and be recognized for outstanding research in biotechnology.
