"The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that Holli Riebel will be its new chief operating officer.
Riebel will join the chamber Aug. 19. She was formerly chief executive officer of the Colorado Bioscience Association. She formerly served on the chamber's economic development entity, and was with Jefferson Economic Council for seven years...
...The Colorado Bioscience Association has named April Giles, executive vice president to oversee its day-to-day operations as a formal search for a replacement begins.

"Holli Riebel has been named chief operating officer of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, effective Aug. 19.
Riebel is currently president and CEO of the Colorado BioScience Association, the trade group representing the state’s biotechnology and medical device industries and related academic research institutions...
...She took leadership of CBSA two years ago. She will remain at the CBSA until Aug. 17.
Steve Orndorff, chairman of the 350-member association’s board and CEO of Ariel Pharmaceuticals said in a note to members Friday that Riebel has been a strong asset for the CBSA.
'She has accomplished a number of goals and led the organization to many successes,' he wrote. 'I can say unequivocally that CBSA is stronger than ever due to Holli’s effective leadership.'
April Giles, CBSA executive vice president, will oversee the association’s day-to-day operations following Riebel’s departure. The association’s board plans to meet soon the start organizing the national search for a permanent president and CEO."
