MUNCIE -- Bell Aquaculture's ambitious plan to raise and market yellow perch to restaurants throughout this part of the Midwest was due to kick off this weekend as the Albany- and Redkey-based business supplied filets for the Purdue University Agricultural Alumni Fish Fry.
Michael Miller, president and chief operating officer of Bell Aquaculture, said the next step -- supplying perch filets to three Delaware County restaurants -- is only the first of many in the long march to his ultimate goal of selling 8.5 million pounds of fish per year by 2015.
